Nozzle
Nozzles, or nozzles as they are also known in English, play a particularly important role in 3D printing, as they are the way heated molten filament is delivered to the printer table. Nozzles should be replaced periodically in the 3D printer, as after a certain time the print can become less accurate. In our nozzle category, we offer our customers a colourful range of nozzles. In the Caxtool webshop you will find nozzles exclusively for filaments with a diameter of 1.75mm and 3.0mm. The nozzle diameters are variable, from 0.1mm to 1.2mm diameter.
We also sell nozzles in several material types. Optional brass, coated with a mixture of copper and zinc, ideal for general printing. Acid-resistant steel, which has the great advantage of heat resistance, and hardened steel, which are most commonly used because they are wear-resistant, are also available, and if you want to work with carbon, wood or metallic materials, you should choose this type of nozzle.
We sell four types of nozzle moulds. One of these is the well-known V6 type nozzle, used for printing larger or detailed models. The design is designed to aid filament flow. The V6 nozzle type is available in several diameters in our webshop. It is worth considering which diameter you choose, as the smaller diameter nozzle is the one to choose if you want to make a very precise print. And if you want to achieve more even layers when printing, you should choose a nozzle with a larger diameter. The MK8 and MK10 nozzle moulds can be used with materials such as PLA, ABS or PETG. These are currently the most common materials on the market. The MK nozzle family is optimised for printing accurate, standard models rather than more abstract shapes. They are also known for their excellent thermal conductivity. Last but not least, V6 Volcano nozzles have been replaced in our stock. It flows the filament at high speed. Its internal structure has also been designed to be optimised for fast flow. We are able to print high layer heights.
