3D Printers
3D printers can be used to create three-dimensional objects. The famous 3D printers are used in many industries and fields. Professional 3D printers are much more expensive and much larger than traditional home 3D printers, and the models they print are different from those used by amateurs. We have a wide range of products in our webshop to help our customers find the ideal printer for them. We also sell 3D printers from big brands such as Prusa and Zmorph. You can also find Creality printers or Wanhao 3D printers.
The use of 3D printers is preceded by the design and creation of the model. The design is implemented using a computer-aided design (CAD) program. The completed model is exported to the STL (Standard Tessellation Language) format, which is easily recognised by the 3D printer. What is worth knowing about the STL format is that it stores the model itself in small triangles.
The process of 3D printing starts by scanning the file. The file contains the model data and the thickness and other properties of the layers that fit together. The standard layer thickness is 0.1mm (100 μm), but there are printers that can print layers up to 16 μm thick.
Different materials are also used in 3D printing. The best known materials are ABS and PLA plastics. But there are also many other materials that are used. Our webshop also offers ABS and PLA filament for printing. It is available in two sizes and twelve different colours. These are not the only two popular materials you can buy, we sell nearly fourteen filament materials. In addition to the two main ones, you can also find PMMA, PETG, HIPS, ASA or many other materials, also in different colours.
